Coach training/Clinics, News

Coaching and Safety Clinics

ALL Coaches, Assistant Coaches and anyone in the player's dug out should attend one clinic of both Coaching and Safety information. Coach training is required by LL district 33 every 3 years. ALL coaches participating in tournament play must be current in training recertification to participate.

ALL Volunteers at any Capacity that have contact with players during practices and games, require completed background check. This is done via a confidential link, MCLL will not have access to sensitive information.

Completion of Concussion training is a one time requirement. Please keep a copy of certificate of completion in your coaching binder and/or available electronically on your phone.

Abuse in Sports is a required online training course required for all volunteers. Required to be completed once. Keep copy of training certification.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest training. Required to be completed once. Keep a copy in your coaching binder.

The clinics listed below are for everyone. Everyone includes Board Members, Managers, Coaches, Umpires and Parents. As each of you know Little League's strength lies within the efforts of all.

These clinics will provide each attendee a deeper understanding of the overall Little League game.

For all who desire, need or require knowledge of how the game is viewed from an umpire's perspective plan to attend the Umpire Clinics also.
